On behalf of Executive Producer, Sean McLeod, in the 20th year of the New York Dance Festival, the NYDF Gala Committee would like you to join us in supporting an awe-inspiring event, that for the first time, will be used as a light to honor and always remember the contributions & legacy of Auburn's very own Broadway Legend, the immeasurable Thommie Walsh! Thommie Walsh and his family has meant so much to this community & professional theatre, and his contributions are countless. Sean McLeod felt that a single event could never do him justice, so he took one of the most anticipated events of the New York Dance Festival and evolved it into an evening of celebration in honor of this great man. This evening benefits the New York Dance Festival Scholarship Fund, making it possible for people around the nation and the world to interact in the medium that Thommie loved.
The Gala brings the power of the "Rat Pack" and the style of the Greats; Sinatra, Dean and Sammy, with the essence of Fosse, Robins, and Gregory Hines performed by some of the world's best, and right at your table's edge! The Gala hails incredible talent from Broadway and the International stage to Upstate New York.
