Lorienne continued to explore her international dance career, studying at the acclaimed Studio Harmonique in Paris, France, and accepting a position as a performer/choreographer/educator in Tunisia, Africa. Ms. Beals later toured with the electric Family Dance Company and was a featured artist in the International Drummer and Dancer Tour. She has performed in a multitude of productions including the Great Blue Heron Music Festival to an audience of over 6,000, as well as at venues in Manhattan, Pittsburgh, Delaware, the Caribbean, and other cities throughout the US. Through these experiences as an independent artist and contractor, Ms. Beals now holds the titles of Director of Services and Executive Consultant to the President at the New York Institute of Dance and Education. Ms. Beals is a core faculty member at the Institute, oversees several NYIDE affiliate schools, and teaches on the American Master Class Tour. Rounding out her education, Lorienne graduated summa cum laude and with honors from Wells College with a degree in Foreign Languages, Literatures, and Cultures (French). She currently is a Certified Business Associate and Certified International Credit Professional (NACM/FCIB) and serves ITT Corporation as a Business Analyst and Credit Specialist. Based on her success, Lorienne accepted a special one-year engagement with the UK office in Basingstoke. While in Europe, Ms. Beals will be joining her colleagues, acclaimed Choreographer and Dancer, Gregory Livingston (from Frankfurt, Germany), and International Producer and Choreographer, Sean McLeod (from the United States), in American Master Class Tour stops in Europe.
