This evening will feature some of the region's established and emerging dance troupes, ensembles and companies.  This powerful and electric dance concert will feature many different dance styles with world-class personalities.  The evening includes everything from classical ballet, to African dance, modern dance, tap dance and even breathtaking cultural and ethnic dance, and is a great crowd pleaser! 

Also that evening, the New York Dance Festival will present the annual DeLavallade Award for Dance.  The award is named in honor of one of dance's greatest and most humble icons of the 20th century, Mrs. Carmen DeLavallade.  At the energetic and explosive event last year, we honored Garth Fagan, choreographer of Broadway's The Lion King! Don't miss this year as we honor more of dance's greatest contributors!
