These directors lead a star-studded lineup of talented and seasoned veterans from Broadway and the World Stage, who will come to Central New York to share their abilities with our participants! Performers will learn through professionally delivered lessons in dance, acting and signing, then complete the workshop with a Broadway Musical! When Sean McLeod returned from New York City to his Upstate New York hometown, he arbitrarily began to help young aspiring performers by directing and choreographing youth theater. Sean's secret was placing no limits on their ability, and requiring participants to like one another while they learned. What it prompted was a theatrical response nothing short of a phenomenon. Taking his national tour, international tour, New York City, and Broadway performing experience in tow, he created middle and high school productions that rivaled the equivalent of professional regional productions across the States. What Sean had done, was create a true model for teaching world-class theatre to both young and adult demographics. Since then, Sean has continued to develop new international tours, created world-class concert series, has been commissioned to choreograph new musicals, consults for theater companies, has taken his tours to New York City, to the Caribbean, Germany, South Africa, been named an International Artistic Ambassador, given the Key to the City, received the NY State Senate Liberty Award (NY State's highest Honor), and the list goes on too long to mention...!
