How do you get Certified? McLeod Technique Modern Certification puts an easy to understand and simple to teach outline of Syllabus exercises in your hands! Certification is a two step process. The first step is a 2 day, 8 Hour per day training with the Technique Developer Sean McLeod or one of his certifying faculty. You will learn an outline of 15 basic exercises that will give you the identifiable foundations of Modern Dance. Second step; at the conclusion of this two day training, you'll be award a Level One Authorized Instructors Certificate for McLeod Technique Modern. The Authorized Instructor status will allow you to practice while developing a deeper understanding and application of how to teach Modern Dance. MT Authorization allows you to teach and earn revenue immediately. Certification

Anyone interested in becoming a New York Institute of Dance and Education Certified Teacher must attend a Reinforced Motor Function® or Modern Certification Training Seminar. Once certified, the Teacher must then keep their teachers license current, and can do so through a number of training's offered annually. Teachers can also use the convenient and continuous education option offered by joining the International Teacher Network, or ITN™. Your next step in becoming a Certified New York Institute of Dance and Education teacher is to attend a First Level Training of one of these courses: Reinforced Motor Function® or McLeod Modern Certification. Reinforced Motor Function® : Why get Certified? Nearly every dance teacher has at one time wished they knew more about the body so they could help their dancers! RMF® is a simple to understand Alignment, Strength, and Flexibility system. The perfect complement to any kind of rehabilitation, dance, movement, or athletic study, the system was initially developed to help dancers rapidly and healthily gain the greatest use of their full physical capacity.
