On Wednesday, July 16, 2008, Senator Michael Nozzolio will
present the International Stage Dance Concert and the Carmen De Lavallade Awards as “Senator Michael Nozzolio Night at the 2008 New York Dance Festival,” at the famed Smith Opera House in Geneva, NY.
This evening features some of the nation's established and emerging dance troupes, ensembles and companies. This powerful and electric dance concert will feature many different styles of dance, music and drumming by world-class personalities. The evening includes everything from classical ballet, to African dance, modern dance, tap dance and even breathtaking cultural and ethnic dance, and is a great crowd pleaser! What's more, it's also an opportunity for emerging dance schools, choreographers and dance companies to participate with the world's best in an easy and inviting event.
